Most sites in this subject area make money from the reader, and the mechanism is usually invisible. Erection does not, and this page exists so the claim can be checked instead of taken on trust.
The short version
No advertising. No affiliate links. No sponsored content. No paid placements. No supplement sales, no telehealth referrals, no discount codes, no email list sold to anyone. Nothing on this site earns money when you click it, and no outbound link carries a tracking identifier of any kind.
Every external link on the site points at a source document: a guideline PDF, a government health page, a peer-reviewed review, an agency notification. They exist so you can verify a claim, and they are worth exactly nothing to us.
Why it works this way
Erectile dysfunction is a condition men are embarrassed to discuss and impatient to solve, which makes them an unusually profitable audience and an unusually easy one to mislead. A page recommending a treatment while earning a commission on that treatment has an interest that competes with the reader's, however carefully it is disclosed.
The commercial pressure in this niche runs in one specific direction: toward telling readers that a purchase will fix the problem tonight. Our reference material says the opposite in several places, including that vascular repair takes seasons rather than evenings, that up to 40% of men get no satisfactory result from oral tablets, and that a new erection problem is a reason to have blood pressure and glucose checked. Material like that does not survive a revenue model built on conversions.
What we turn down
- Supplement partnerships
- Declined without exception. FDA laboratory testing has identified hundreds of sexual enhancement products containing undeclared sildenafil or tadalafil, and no due diligence a small publisher can perform makes that category safe to recommend.
- Telehealth referral deals
- Declined. Paying per completed consultation creates an incentive to route every reader toward a prescription, including readers whose next step should be a cardiovascular workup instead.
- Sponsored articles and link insertions
- Declined. Offers to place a paid link inside an existing page arrive most weeks, sometimes framed as a correction or an editorial suggestion.
- Device and clinic promotions
- Declined. Shockwave therapy, platelet-rich plasma injections and similar offerings are marketed heavily and supported thinly, and we describe the evidence base without selling access to it.
Device coverage is where a commercial motive would be easiest to suspect, and there is none to find. The vacuum erection device page names no seller and links to no retailer. Nothing on morning erection, how long should an erection last, public erection or female erection earns a commission, because no commission arrangement exists anywhere on this site.
How to check the claim
Hover over any link on the site and read the address before clicking. Commercial links carry a tail of extra characters after the address so the referral can be credited; ours carry none, and they land on the document itself with no intermediate domain in between.
Nothing here asks for an account, an email address or a payment method, because there is nothing to sell you. The only personal data the site touches is described in the privacy policy, and the editorial process that keeps commercial pressure out of the text is documented in the editorial policy.
If this ever changes
A funding model can change, and pretending otherwise would be its own small dishonesty. If the site ever carried a commercial link, this page would say so at the top with the date, the arrangement would be named, and every affected page would carry a label at the point of the link, not a line in the footer.
Our reading of the Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guides at 16 CFR Part 255 is that disclosure belongs where a reader will see it before deciding anything, so that is where it would go. Until then this page stands as a statement that there is nothing to disclose. Who maintains it is covered on the about page, and anything unclear can go to the contact page.
