Reader mail is how errors get found. Corrections, missing sources, questions about a passage that did not land and complaints about the writing all reach a person, usually within one or two working days. Picking the right address below gets your message there faster.
Where to write

- [email protected]. Anything about the material: a factual error, an out-of-date clinical statement, a passage that does not make sense, or a question you expected us to answer and could not find. Naming the page and quoting the passage saves a round trip, and attaching a source moves it to the front of the queue.
- Editorial and press
- [email protected]. Requests to quote the material, questions about sourcing and methodology, and enquiries from journalists, clinicians or researchers. We answer questions about our own process in detail and will point at the primary document behind any claim.
- Privacy and data
- [email protected]. Access, deletion, correction and objection requests under GDPR, UK GDPR or the CCPA, plus anything about the privacy policy. Acknowledged within seventy-two hours, completed within thirty days.
Why there is no contact form
A form means a third-party service and a database holding what people type into it. On a site about erectile dysfunction, that database would be an unusually sensitive thing to maintain, so we do not maintain one. Email keeps the exchange between you and us.
For the same reason there is no newsletter, no account system and no comment section. Everything we hold about a correspondent is their message and the address it came from, kept for twelve months after the thread closes and then deleted.
Most correspondence concerns one specific passage, so quoting it saves a round trip. That applies whether the passage sits on morning erection, how long should an erection last, vacuum erection device, public erection or female erection, since several of those pages carry tables where a single figure is usually the thing in dispute.
What we cannot help with
We cannot give medical advice, and this is the request that arrives most often. Nobody here can assess your symptoms, tell you whether a drug is safe alongside your current prescriptions, or say what is causing your particular problem, because all three need an examination, a medication list and blood work. A message describing symptoms gets a reply pointing at a clinician, which is the honest answer even when it is not the wanted one.
We do not supply, recommend or help you obtain prescription medication, and we do not evaluate products or sellers. The danger in that category is specific: these drugs drop blood pressure and are contraindicated with nitrates, and counterfeits sold without a prescription carry an unknown dose of an undeclared ingredient.
Commercial approaches get a short answer. We accept no sponsored posts, no paid links, no guest articles and no product placements, a position set out in full on our disclosure page, and messages offering them are not answered individually.
If something is urgent
An erection lasting longer than four hours, a painful erection, or erection problems accompanied by chest pain are medical emergencies, and an email to us is the slowest possible response to any of them. Emergency services in the United States are reached on 911, and the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline takes calls and texts at any hour if what is urgent is your state of mind rather than a physical symptom.
Response times
General and editorial mail is answered within one to two working days, Monday to Friday. Corrections are checked against primary sources within forty-eight hours, and confirmed errors are fixed the same day the check completes, with a dated note where the change is substantive. Privacy requests follow the statutory clock.
We read everything, including the messages telling us the writing is too dry for the subject.
Social accounts
We maintain no accounts on any social platform. There is no presence on X, Reddit, Facebook or anywhere else, and an account presenting itself as this site is not connected to us. Reports of one are welcome at the general address.
